Coldplay and Rihanna teamed up a while back to shoot the music video for their single together off of the band’s new album, Mylo Xyloto, and although we’ve seen footage of the pop star appear from the clip on their tour, new behind-the-scenes footage from the production shows some pretty awesome Samurai fight choreography between she and lead singer Chris Martin!

Seriously… what was Alpha Lorenzo Walker thinking??
Claiming to be the incest child of Mr. Wonder and his sister, Alpha threatened to tell the press unless the singer could hand over $ 5 million.
After Stevie laughed at the claims, Alpha figured he could settle for $ 10,000.
But there was already an undercover operation ready to catch the fool. When Alpha was told to meet Stevie’s “reps,” he agreed to sign a statement confirming his allegations were false.
Needin’ that money fast, he signed away… and was cuffed immediately. Surprise! Those “reps” were cops… whomp whomp!
Alpha and his girlfriend were arrested and charged with felony extortion. What an idiot!
We wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t see her on the Saturday Night Live stage for quite some time after this!
While Rihanna put up some seriously solid performances on the sketch comedy show last night, she reportedly gave producers some serious grief when she called in sick for the dress rehearsal…which takes place RIGHT before the actual show!
Sources reveal head Lorne Michaels takes the prep time very seriously, and was furious, as NO ONE has ever pulled a stunt like this before! Apparently, her dancers went on in her place, and just danced to the songs.
Worse yet, staffers were even more PO’d when she showed up later, eating an apple and looking fit as a fiddle!
However, insiders on team RiRi maintain that she really was sick, and had a doctor come to her dressing room moments before her performance to inject her with penicillin!
Yeesh!
Regardless of whether or not her absence was justified, she is seriously over-working herself, and hope that she takes the proper amount of time to recuperate!
There’s no point in scheduling so many appearances if you’re not going to be at your best for them, gurl!

We don’t see the social network going away anytime soon, so it might not be a bad investment. However, analysts are predicting that the price of stock will only increase as time ticks closer to the launch.

That’s exactly what William Lawlis Pace did for 94.5 years until his death at 103 years old this past Monday in Turlock, California.
The Guinness World Record authorities recognized Pace as the person who had lived the LONGEST with a bullet lodged in his head!
When Pace was just eight years old, his big brother shot him by accident when they were playing with their dad’s .22 caliber rifle!
And we thought Ralphie was bad with his BB gun! LOLz.
Back when the incident occurred in 1917, Pace’s doctors thought brain surgery would be too risky, so they left the bullet right where it was and where it stayed until his death.
We hope William rests in peace…but wow, what a feat!
A wildly successful soundtrack album for a wildly successful movie!
The Hunger Games Soundtrack: Songs from District 12 and Beyond, which was produced by Universal Republic’s T Bone Burnett, is expected to debut at #1 on the HITS album chart next Tuesday, with 150-175,000 estimated in sales!
And given the tracks that we’ve heard from it – which include two from Taylor Swift, as well as originals KiD CuDi, Maroon 5, Arcade Fire, and Birdy – it is certainly well-deserved!
Definitely one of the best soundtracks to come out in quite some time!
We’ll be very curious to hear how the songs are incorporated into the actual film!
Wow! We had thought they had abandoned this entirely!
Back before Rihanna had released Loud in 2010 she was quoted claiming that she and Katy Perry were going to work on a track together, and said:
“We want to get in the studio and hopefully make something for this album [Loud], who knows – or maybe for her re-release. We want to do something together for sure.”
And that was the end of it – until now!
Apparently, just because these girls haven’t been talking about it to the press doesn’t mean it hasn’t still been in the works, because two years – and two albums – later, Rihanna has revealed:
“We have been working on this for years. We still are trying to make a song together. She is one of my favorite musicians, as well as one of my favorite people in the industry. [Katy is] very uncalculated, very sure of herself, and that’s something very rare in this industry to find. The song will probably come out in a while. I won’t say that it’s happening right now, but it’s going to happen.”

Apparently Dark Castle is in negotiations to have Jake star in their new flick, Motor City
The movie is about an ex-army ranger named John Miller who gets framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Now, he is going after the man who framed him and stole his true love.
We’ll be honest, that sounds really bland. Maybe if we hear some more details or something…
And seriously, can writers not come up with better names??
The only way this MIGHT be good is if Jake’s in it!!
